ESU proudly boasts the largest staff of cross-trained customer service associates in the marketplace.
ESU’s entire staff of CSRs is trained on all product lines and fully capable of servicing quotations,
purchase orders, expediting, and providing technical assistance. With extended customer service hours
of 6:00am to 6:00pm every business day, ESU provides its customers and end-users with a superior level
of service and sales support.
Although all CSRs are cross-trained on all product lines, each manufacturer is assigned an inside
sales coordinator. The designated sales coordinator serves as the primary contact for the principals’
administrative personnel and is responsible for the daily administration of the product line. This
includes managing all quotations, maintaining and distributing sales literature, and updating the sales
staff with changes to policies, procedures and market conditions.
Marketing
In an effort to maximize end-user demand and specification for our products, ESU maintains a
specification marketing program focused on consulting engineering firms, architects, original equipment
manufacturers (OEM) and maintenance, repair and operation (MRO) personnel. An overview of specification
activities includes the following:
- Maintain specifications with consulting engineering firms, with management involvement at key/major firms
- Construction project targeting and tracking
- New business opportunities for OEM and MRO accounts through database marketing and a on staff
OEM/MRO specialist
- Energy management specifications for energy-service companies (ESCO) and lighting maintenance contractors (LMC)
- Contractor specifications and maintenance of relationships with major contractors
